lt all starts with creating a loose and upbeat vibe on set so that we’re able to quickly get her in a place where she’s having fun and feels totally comfortable revealing her natural, uninhibited self. I’ll work closely with her to make sure that we get a great range of emotions and reactions, especially since our time with her will be limited. I’ll get her to open up, move around and really engage the camera almost like it were a close friend. At the end of the day though, I always find the most magical moments are the ones that happen spontaneously—those little human reactions that you could never script or force out of someone.
