A possible approach with the Holden culture is not to fully abandon the roots and identity on which it was built, but to evolve out of it. The core demographic that remained so obsessed with the Holden line of outerwear still has a sense of nostalgia for the era that was defined by their clothing and activities. 

It is that fine balance between a punk rock sort of attitude that is embedded in the DNA of the Holden name, and the sense of sophistication and state it can evolve into.
